Craft Gin Club's September Rum of the Month: Lantic Spiced Rum
Discover a brand-new spirit from Cornish brand, Lantic - one of our brilliant Family of Distillers that made a mark on our members with its Morva Gin in August 2022. Now, the distillery, headed up by Alex Palmer-Samborne, is branching into an exciting new spirits category - and our members are the first to know!
An expert blend of Caribbean and Jamaican rums enhanced with a mixture of full-flavoured Cornish botanicals, Lantic Spiced Rum continues to reflect the very best of the distillery's ability to craft unique expressions filled with authentic, local flavours.
On the palate, delicate florals and a warming sweetness is beautifully balanced with a touch of coastal salinity and a soft umami depth, creating a smooth, mellow sip and luxurious mouthfeel.
We’ve loved working with Lantic again on the release of its brand-new rum. Whilst the distillery is venturing into a new spirits category, this rum remains true to the core values of Lantic – a passion for craft and hyper-local Cornish flavours.

Lantic Spiced Rum Perfect Serve
Ingredients
- 50ml Lantic Spiced Rum
- 200ml Fitch & Leedes Ginger Ale
- Dried apple, to garnish
Method
Fill a glass with ice and pour in the rum and mixer. Stir gently to combine, garnish and serve.

Ingredients
- 50ml Lantic Spiced Rum
- 25ml Raspberry & Rhubarb Highball Syrup
- 100ml Marlish Blackcurrant
- Lemon peel, to garnish
Method
Fill a highball glass with ice and add the rum, cocktail syrup and mixer. Stir gently to combine, then garnish and serve.
